We have been working hard on our number writing in room 213. Use this document to support your student at home. Each number has a poem that goes a long with it. At the end of the document are practice sheets you can use if you choose (and if your students wants to!) to help reinforce this learning at home. Have fun!

Framingham uses a program called Fundations to teach important phonics and handwriting skills. Research indicates that systematic and explicit phonics instruction is effective for all children. Fundations provides a systematic and explicit approach to reading and spelling with phonics. We will combine this instruction with reading good literature, which is just as important for your child's development.
Each week I'll be teaching your child new letters - how to say the letter, what the letter sound is, and how to write the letter. You can help reinforce this learning at home. I will be posting the Fundations home support information here, weekly. Be sure to check it out so that you can be a part of your child's learning! This coming week I will be introducing letters T, B, and F. |
